Golden Knit Composite Ltd
In 2017, Triangle Engineers Ltd. provided comprehensive MEP and fire safety design services for Golden Knit Composite Ltd., a six-story industrial RCC building with a floor area of 30,000 square feet per level. Our scope included designing an efficient mechanical ventilation system, calculating air volume requirements, sizing ducts, and selecting appropriate fans to ensure proper airflow. For the compressed air system, we conducted end-user consumption analysis, selected compressors, and designed an optimized piping and control network. Our work on steam and condensate management involved calculating steam demand, selecting and designing the boiler system, planning the fuel and ventilation setup, and ensuring proper piping, welding, insulation, and testing. We also facilitated government approvals and certifications for regulatory compliance. As MEP consultants for energy efficiency and LEED certification, we focused on sustainable and efficient design solutions, incorporating solar energy, water conservation, optimized electrical systems, and waste management strategies. Additionally, we developed a fire safety system in line with NFPA standards, designing fire alarm and detection systems (NFPA 72), fire protection solutions including hydrants and sprinklers (NFPA 13), and pump room layouts, along with clear egress routes for safe evacuation. Our expertise ensured that the project met high safety, efficiency, and sustainability standards, reflecting our commitment to delivering innovative engineering solutions for industrial infrastructure.
