What we inspect
We inspect the existing fire safety setup of your project based on its type, use, and risk. We compare what we see and test against BNBC 2020, FSCD requirements, and relevant international standards used across TEL’s fire-safety work.

Consultant Profile
This service is led by Md. Shahjahan Alam, a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer from BUET with postgraduate qualifications, professional management training, and LEED Green Associate credentials.
He brings more than 25 years of professional experience in fire safety systems, mechanical engineering, infrastructure projects, and technical consultancy. Over the years, he has worked on major government and private-sector projects in Bangladesh, including large-scale infrastructure and public-sector assignments.
His experience includes involvement with the Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project Line 5, along with technical work related to fire safety system selection for Dhaka Metro Rail project facilities. He has also worked on national and international consultancy assignments under projects supported by organizations such as JICA, ADB, and the World Bank.
As an international consultant, he has also worked in Tajikistan for a World Bank-supported project.
