Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant

The Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant (RNPP) is Bangladesh’s first nuclear energy project, playing a critical role in the country’s energy security. As part of this prestigious project, Triangle Engineers Ltd. was entrusted with the supervision of multistage vertical turbine pump installation for the cooling towers, under a work order from Paharpur Cooling Tower Company.

Our scope of work included pump testing and commissioning, ensuring the 800 m³/hour capacity pumps (operating at 100m head) were installed and aligned with precision. We meticulously checked pump leveling, shaft alignment, runout, and deflection, verifying field data against manufacturer specifications and industry-standard tolerance levels. The mobilization process involved high-precision tools, including master level gauges (0.05mm/M), dial indicators, and filler gauges, along with a team of skilled professionals to execute the job flawlessly.

Additionally, our involvement extended to fire and electrical design and installation works in the plant’s welding zone shed, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Through rigorous quality control, precise engineering supervision, and a commitment to excellence, Triangle Engineers Ltd. contributed to the successful execution of critical infrastructure within Bangladesh’s most advanced power generation project.
