Fun, Sports & Family: Axis-Triangle Group Celebrates Annual Get-Together 2026

Event Overview

The Axis-Triangle Group held its regular annual get-together on February 5, 2026. The day included many fun activities, such as games for children and a cricket match for adults. There were also traditional competitions like breaking the pot, biscuit races, and a quiz. ​

Evening Program

In the evening, the group met at Royal Cuisine for a discussion, an award ceremony, and dinner. Employees and their families enjoyed the joyful atmosphere together. The program officially started with a speech by Engr. Monirul Islam, the Managing Director of Axis Energy Ltd. ​

Presentations and Distinguished Guests

Engr. Sharif Al Mahmud, the COO of Triangle, gave a presentation about the group's work. Engr. Ahnaf managed the entire event. Several notable guests spoke at the event, including: ​

1. Dr. Fazle Elahi: A distinguished academic and former Vice-Chancellor of IUT. ​
2. Mr. Masud Rahman: Former Engineer at Intel Corporation. 
3. Engr. Kamrul Islam: Chairman of the BGMEA BNBC Standing Committee. ​
4. Dr. Tariq Bin Yusuf: Former Chief Engineer of Dhaka South City Corporation. ​
5. Engr. Hasmatuzzaman: Former President, ASHRAE Bangladesh. ​

Awards and Closing

Many professionals from companies like DevCon, BETS, NAFFCO, Amin Mohammad, FSCD, and National Tube attended the lively program. Winners received prizes, and a Special Honor was given to the Father of Director Khalilur Rahman. ​ In the closing remarks, Group Chairman Engr. Shahjahan Alam promised to work harder for the future of Bangladesh. Managing Director Allama Shaikkh Bin Nur thanked everyone for attending and for their help in making the day successful.
