Triangle Engineers Ltd Signs EPC Contract with Japan’s Tekken Corporation for BIGM Safe Water Supply Project

Last Monday (26 January 2026) we signed a contract with Tekken Corporation. Under this contract we- the EPC contractor will develop the Deep Tube Well (DTW) and install the submersible pump for the project named BIGM (Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management). The site mobilization, boring works, piping works, pump installation, electrical connection works, washing and cleaning, water sample collection and testing, documentation and handover are the major scope of works here.

The complex geological formations, water table and water contamination in Dhaka, particularly with iron and manganese and fecal contamination are the challenges here. The key technical obstacles include managing fine sand aquifers, potential hole collapse, and high failure rates for deep wells. 

As MEP Consultant, the Triangle Engineers Ltd. will ensure quality of works, work place safety and the time frame as settled. The column pipe to be hot dipped galvanized, the pump to be energy efficient and manufactured by the reputed brand as mentioned in the contract. 

The Project Manager of Tekken Corporation and Chairman of Axis Triangle Group signed on behalf of their respective companies. The engineers of Tekken corporation and Triangle Engineer Ltd. Attended the program. Both the parties are committed to set up a production tube well (PTW) to supply quality fresh water for the project.
